Mom Made is a slow fashion knit brand for women, men and kids. Every product is handmade with love. “Slow Fashion” advocates for manufacturing with respect to people, the environment, and animals. It involves local artisans, the use of eco-friendly materials, to preserve crafts, the environment, and, ultimately, provide value to both consumers and producers.

A majority of our garments utilize 100% Merino Wool, which is a natural fibre that is biodegradable and can be re-spun and upcycled. Additionally, we utilize recyclable cotton labels and cotton canvas bags printed with eco-friendly ink which is free of harmful substances, and compostable shipping bags.

We operate using demand-based small batch quantity and made to order garment fabrication to avoid overproduction, waste and carbon emissions.

Zero-Waste
Our garments are all hand-knit which means that we utilize 100% of our yarn in the creation of each piece. This means no additional waste is created due to fabric cutting. Leftover pieces of yarn are repurposed for punch-needling. We also avoid using extra packing materials such as tissue paper or oversized packages.
